Always have trouble printing and matting your pictures for EXPO? Terry Neff and Virginia Kolstad are holding a printing and matting workshop on the above date. They will briefly cover key considerations when printing your work and will also suggest some alternative methods of matting your prints. The program will cover print settings, monitor calibration, and choice of paper, different matting techniques and how to cut and matt your work once printed.
This will be a hands on workshop. Members and non member EXPO entrants who would like to learn more about preparing their work for EXPO may bring their photos, a precut mat and backing and double-sided tape or ATG tape to the meeting. Volunteers will be at the meeting to assist you to mount your photos. Note: you must bring your own materials and the picture(s) to be matted.
If you are not a Sparta Camera Club member, you must bring a completed EXPO Entry Form and the entry fee if you would like assistance with matting. The link to the Entry Form is found on the club’s website at www.spartacameraclub.org.
