Learn how to shoot better and editwith some of the best photo processing apps available. You’ll see the world in a whole new way after this class!

    Paul Michael Kane combines his extensive background in visual communication with traditional and alternative photographic processes utilizing the latest advances in digital media. Exhibited internationally, his works have been purchased for numerous private and public collections. He’s won several “best-in-show” awards and continues to explore new technologies as the field of digital photography expands.     The SCC will host an outing to the Presby Iris Gardens, 474 Upper Mountain Avenue, Upper Montclair, NJ on Wednesday, May 19, 2021.   Rain date Thursday, May 20 at 9 am. We will meet near the entrance at 9 AM sharp.

    There is limited street parking on Upper Mountain Avenue and Highland Avenue so carpooling is suggested. Please visit www.presbyirisgardens.org for directions and parking information.

    Face Masks are required.  Please bring your own water.

    Joy Schmitz and Clarke Warren are leading a flower photography workshop for members of the Sparta Camera Club. The workshop is for all levels of photographers.  The workshop will cover diffuser use, If you have diffusers bring them with you. Bring your camera and learn how to photograph flowers in the garden and cut flowers arranged in still-life arrangements.  If you have diffusers, reflectors, black & white mat boards, please bring them with you.  You will also have the opportunity to visit and photograph the Historical Society's Thomas Edison exhibit.

    Attendance limited to 25 people.  

    Masks are required at the homestead.

    SCC Members may submit up to four photos in Photo Contest Pro for this competition.  The photos may be on any subject, but may not have been entered into any prior 'End of Year' Competition.

    Photos should be entered on Photo Contest Pro.  Please see club emails for details.

    Judges are Clarke Warren, Edward Moldeveneau and a third judge Yet to be Determined.

    SCC Competitions are for members only.
