There are no places left for this trip - sorry

The PA side of the Delaware has many abandoned farms and barns that present great photographic opportunities. We will photograph many of these sites guided by associates of PEEC (Poconos Educational Environmental Center).

The cost of the the trip is $30.00 per person. (Twenty five dollars is PEEC's fee and the extra $5.00 will be for a gratuity for the driver.)

We will meet at the Chatterbox at the junction of Routes 15 and 206 at 8 am on Sunday February 10 2013. We can arrange car sharing as needed and then drive over to the Pocono Environmental and Educational Center. There we transfer to PEEC vans to visit the deserted farms and barns by staff members of PEEC. We will have a full day of photography.

Places on this trip are limited. Spots will be available on a first come first served basis. To reserve your place click the "register" button and pay the $30 to Sparta Camera Club using the pay now button. You do not need a Paypal account, you just need a credit card. SCC will pay PEEC. All money must be paid, in advance.

This trip is suitable for all ages. The event with PEEC will be approximately 9AM TO 3PM. Everyone should bring a packed lunch.

This event is weather dependent. We have arranged a bad weather day of March 3.

In September 2012 16 members enjoyed a similar trip on the New Jersey side of the Delaware and all had a great time. This one should be just as good. The timing will insure that the vegetation and bug level is low.
