Judy Hanock Holland is an accomplished Canadian photographer who has won several awards from the Canadian Association for Photographic Art including first place in 2016 and 2019, and third place in 2018 and 2022. In 2023, Judy received an honorable mention in the BNW Minimalist Magazine under the abstract category for her series of six photos titled Leaf Lines. Her web page is: https://www.jhhphotography.com
At the March 13,2024 meeting of the SCC, Judy will review key aspects of minimalist photography – simplicity, negative space, and limiting the photo to one subject. She will share a number of her works with us and discuss how she achieves the minimalist effect. The meeting will be hybrid (in person and remote on Webex) Judy will deliver her presentation online via WebEx.
