  • Sunday, September 30, 2012
  • 8:00 AM
  • Poconos

Registration is closed

The Delaware water gap is home to many abandoned farms and barns that present great photographic opportunities. We will photograph many of these sites guided by associates of PEEC (Pocono Educational Environmental Center).

The cost of the the trip is $20.00 per person. (Fifteen dollars is PEEC's fee and the extra $5.00 will be for a gratuity for the driver.)

We will meet at the Chatterbox at the junction of Routes 15 and 206 at 8am on Sunday September 30. We can arrange car sharing as needed and then drive over to the Pocono Environmental and Educational Center. There we transfer to PEEC vans and are driven to deserted farms and barns by staff members of PEEC. We will have a full day of photography.

Places on this trip are limited. Spots will be available on a first come first served basis. To reserve your place click the "register" button and pay the $20 to Sparta Camera Club using the pay now button. You do not need a Paypal account, you just need a credit card. SCC will pay PEEC. All money must be paid, in advance.

This trip is suitable for all ages. The event with PEEC will be approximately 9AM TO 3PM. Everyone should bring a packed lunch.

If the event is over subscribed we will refund any payments and try to arrange a follow up trip.

This event is weather dependent and may be cancelled in the event of inclement weather.
