Mike Tracy, resident expert on dragonfly and butterfly photography, is hosting a summer outing for SCC members on Monday, July 27, 2020 at 8 AM. (Rain date is Tuesday, July 28, 2020)
The Outing will take place at the White Lake Natural Resource Area, 120 Stillwater Road, Hardwick, NJ 07825.
The area is a great place to photography butterflies and dragonflies. There is also a small lake there with a place to launch a kayak or canoe and a small dock where you can take pictures of the reeds, waterlillies, birds and fish. Across the street is an old house and barns which are also a part of the area.
There is a large parking area off the road. A portable restroom is located in the parking lot. Please bring your own water to drink, sunscreen, insect repellent, a hat and of course your camera!
The area is also located about 2 miles from the Paulinskill River Trail in Marksboro which runs next to the Paulinskill River.
Masks and Social Distancing will be required for everyone's safety!
