When we arrive, we will be able to photograph:
a. The pilots taking out their gliders and ASSEMBLING THEM!
b. The pilots putting them in line for towing.
c. Planes on the ground as well as taking off/landing and towing gliders.
There is:
a. A trail that is used by horse riders and bikers that comes thru the A/P.
b. A restaurant to purchase food/beverages.
c. An opportunity, for those who are adventurous, to ride in a glider. Cheapest is $125 plus tax, and the passenger can get some aerial photos, but the weight limit for all (pilot and passenger) is 220 lbs.
Brenda asked if our photographers would be willing to share their photos and I said yes (including the maker's copyright signature). She also said there would be a donation bucket for those so inclined (nice idea if ou think the experience was worth it).
