Are you interested in learning how to edit your photos? SCC Camera Night will focus on Photo Editing. If you are an SCC member and would like to learn more, please bring your laptop and a few photos to edit. 

 

We will provide two photos which we will edit at the meeting so you can follow along. You may also bring your own photos. Individuals will be there to assist you. 

 

What to bring:  A laptop computer and some photos to edit. 

What applications:  Lightroom and/or Photoshop is preferred but we can help you with other applications.

 

This meeting is for SCC Members only.

Sparta Camera Club will host a Photo Share on Wednesday, May 13th at the Sparta Ambulance Building. This is the perfect opportunity to show what you have learned from our different speakers throughout the year, as well as demonstrate the results of editing your photos.

SCC Members may enter two examples on Photo Contest Pro showing how the photo looked before and after it was edited (four photos total). Also, members will explain what they did and why during the meeting. The photos must be jpegs that are 1080 on the longest side. They should also be in the sRGB color space. 

 

The Photo Share is open to SCC Members only, however, Non members are welcome to attend this meeting, which will begin at 7:30 PM. 

SCC will host an End of Year Print Competition on Wednesday, May 27th, at 7:30 PM at the Sparta Ambulance Building in Sparta, NJ. 

Members may submit up to 5 printed and matted photos in this competition. The photos should be matted in a 16 x 20 inch mat with a backing board. Photos may be on any subject, but cannot be entered if they have won in a prior SCC End of Year Competition. More details on what photos may be entered can be found in the weekly newsletter. Instructions on how to mat and label your photos will be provided in the near future.
