Competition: Weather

For next week's club competition, the theme will be weather. To be more specific the main subject of the photo should somehow be related to weather phenomena. Whether (no pun intended) it is directly related to a weather event occurring at the time the image was photographed or it is a depiction of some type of impact caused by a weather related event.

Examples of a weather event: tornado, hurricane, lightning, fog, rain, or snow

Examples of impact caused by a weather related event: damage in the aftermath of a hurricane, trees uprooted or fallen from strong winds, flooded streets, etc.

Digital entries should be in JPEG format no larger than 768 pixels on the longest side. If you wish to compete with a print that evening, please bring them to the meeting. Each member can enter 4 digital images and/or 4 print images for a potential total of 8 images.

Please send your images to info@spartacameraclub.org no later than Monday, January 21, 2013 at midnight. Please put "weather" in the subject line without the quotes. Please also indicate in the body of the message, if the image should be in the Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced class. All entries with no specification will automatically be placed in the Intermediate class
